Cold Weather Shelter
Supported by the Whittier Interfaith Council, and local churches, the Cold Weather Shelter assists 30 homeless men and women from November through March. CWS provides overnight shelter, breakfast and dinner for the residents.
Partnership: Donating canned food and cold weather items, WACC co-hosts 2 weeks of shelter per year - providing meal preparation and service, visiting with the residents, and overnight chaperoning
